Lien rights
The deadline engine that doesn't forget.
Mechanic's lien rights are the most powerful collection tool a subcontractor has — and the easiest one to lose by accident. Each state has its own preliminary-notice deadline. Miss it once and the lien rights for that job are gone.

- Notice to Owner (NTO) requirements where applicable (FL, MN, TN)

Automated filing

- Certified mail with return receipt where required
- Direct e-filing in jurisdictions that support it
- Mechanic's lien recording on Growth+ via licensed partner counsel
- Bond claims for public projects (Miller Act / Little Miller Act)

Why this matters
A subcontractor with active lien rights gets paid. A subcontractor without them becomes an unsecured creditor in line behind the bank, the IRS, and the GC's factoring company. The deadline engine is the difference between getting paid in full and writing off bad debt at year-end.
Sample state deadlines
Three states. Three completely different rules.
Preliminary 20-day notice required. Lien must be recorded within 90 days of completion (or 60 days of NOC).
Monthly second-tier notices. Affidavit must be filed by 15th of 4th month after non-payment.
Notice to Owner within 45 days of first work. Lien must be recorded within 90 days of last work.
Billitron tracks all 50 states with the right rule set, the right form, and the right service method per jurisdiction.
