FAQ
Is the free tier really free?
Yes — up to $50k annual invoiced volume, forever. Production use OK. We make money when you grow past the free tier.
Why no per-user pricing?
Because the foreman, the PM, the controller, and the owner all need to be in the system for it to actually save anyone time. Per-user pricing punishes adoption.
What if I cross my tier's volume?
We notify you. Nothing breaks. You upgrade or we true up at renewal — no mid-year surprise invoices.
Does it work alongside QuickBooks / Sage / Viewpoint?
Yes — bidirectional sync on Starter (QB / Xero) and Scale (Sage 100/300, Viewpoint Vista, Foundation). Billitron handles the construction-specific workflows; the GL stays where you've got it.
What about retainage? Pay-when-paid?
First-class. Retainage is tracked per job with reduce / release rules. Pay-when-paid lag is modeled into the cash forecast based on your contract terms.
Do you actually file lien notices?
Yes. Preliminary notices and Notices of Intent are sent automatically by certified mail (or state-required equivalent) on the deadlines you configure. Mechanic's lien filing is available on Growth and above through licensed partner counsel in each state.
