What this notice covers
This notice describes how Billitron ("we", "us") processes personal data when you use Billitron Cloud or visit our website.
What we process
- Account data: name, email, company, billing details, tax ID.
- Operational data: customers, jobs, quotes, pay-apps, lien notices, payments — these are your business data, processed on your behalf as a processor under GDPR.
- Banking data: tokenized account / routing numbers via our payment processor; we don't store raw bank data.
- Telemetry: error reports (PII-scrubbed), aggregate usage metrics, feature flags.
Lawful basis
- Contract: we process account and operational data to provide the service you signed up for.
- Legal obligation: retention of payment records, tax forms, and lien filings as required by US federal and state law.
- Legitimate interest: security telemetry, anti-abuse, product analytics.
- Consent: marketing email — opt-in only, easy to revoke.
Sharing
We share data only with the sub-processors listed on our trust center. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data to anyone, ever.
Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active and for 12 months after closure. Payment records and tax-related data are retained for 7 years to comply with US tax and banking regulations. Telemetry is retained 90 days.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to processing. Contact privacy@billitron.com for any data-protection request. We respond within 30 days.
